As I regularly visited Remscheid, last weekend is the very first time to eat here. It is unbelievably delicious authentic pizza margarita and tonno that we got..

We are visiting here from California vor the past 3 years and it is our go-to place for authentic Italian cuisine. We eat here several times during our stay and the food and service is always outstanding. We travelled through Italy last year and we really liked the pizzas and pasta dishes here better. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome and are happy to recommend dishes if you need help choosing. The service is quick, and the food is served hot and fresh. Prices are fair, and the portions are generous. It’s a perfect place for a casual dinner or even a special occasion. We have eaten here three times while visiting family in Remscheid (full disclosure: the last time was around a year ago). One time was in a group with reservations on a busy night, and the other two times were as walk-ins when it was not busy. On the busy night the food did take a little while to arrive, but what is the hurry? A nice evening dinner with friends and family should be relished. Drinks were served in a timely fashion, and it is a nice change of pace from many American restaurants where the goal is to get you in and out as quickly as possible. The two off-peak visits had our food arriving in a reasonable amount of time. All three times we have had the pizza, because in our opinion it is some of the best in the area. The next time we visit Remscheid, I can promise we will again be dining at the Trattoria Pizzeria Daunia!
